Who knew?

Who knew, when this horrid thing happened,

There would come, family to God?

Who knew, when this loved life ended,

I would barely keep on, but for His loving prod?

Who knew, when you ceased,

Our family would increase?

Who knew, when my world fell apart,

My heart could grow so large with love?

God knew.

God knew, that when this happened,

Deb would trust Him with her life.

God knew, when it felt like my life ended,

A new life bloomed, fragile and defended.

He knew.

God knew what He was doing.
